Well, it's been almost a year since I added stuff to my blog. A friend of mine (http://putativethoughts.blogspot.com/) re-inspired (?!) me to consider updating my blog again! And so...
Another event that instigated this action was an offer... from Singapore. It was too tempting, an opportunity to earn double than what I am getting now. In fact, it was a tough decision to make. Current scenario does not offer such chances (a long term overseas work)... yet, I rejected it!
For me two reasons were the most important that drove this action. One, I believe I've reached a point in my career where money is beginning to take a lesser priority than the quality of work I undertake. The second reason was slightly unusual. I had changed my job just 2 and a half months ago and I thought it was totally unprofessional of me to breach the trust of my current employer. Within a span of 2 months, my progress has been exponential, with responsiblities increasing day by day! On paper, I'm still a developer, but the role is much more!
This decision was... one step closer... towards being a true professional!

As far as the Singaporean offer is concerned, you are not wrong if you choose to believe your instincts that are comforting, than to be tormented by reality as perceived by the public?
